How to Solve the Jamming Fault of the Blind Valve

Description: During the use of the blind valve, a jamming phenomenon may occur, where the operating handle or transmission device fails to smoothly open or close the valve, causing the interruption of the production line operation.

Solution: Pull out the jammed valve, clean it, and apply an appropriate amount of lubricant. If the problem still cannot be solved, replace the gasket or install a new blind valve.

To solve the jamming fault of the blind valve, in addition to the above – mentioned methods, the following steps can also be followed:

1. Check the transmission components: Inspect whether the transmission chains, gears, etc. are worn, deformed, or stuck by foreign objects. If they are severely worn, replace the relevant parts in time; if there are foreign objects, clean them up.

2. Check the driving device: For electric drives, check if the motor is faulty and if there is an open – circuit in the circuit; for pneumatic drives, check if the air source pressure is stable and if the air pipe is damaged or leaking. Repair or replace the faulty parts.

3. Check the valve plate and valve seat: Confirm whether there are foreign objects embedded between them or if the sealing surface is damaged. If there are foreign objects, carefully remove them; if the sealing surface is damaged, repair or replace it.

4. Check the installation condition: Ensure that the blind valve is installed correctly without tilting or uneven stress. If the installation is incorrect, readjust the installation position and the tightness of the bolts.
